Time Flies

I've added a few links that kinda sum up the span of the last year of my life and the (mostly) outdoor adventures I have had.

Highlights 

June 23rd Wedding (2011) at Patapsco State Park 

Angela Gaude and I joined hands in marriage after 9 years of testing the water, and bringing two kids into the world. We are not religious, but it was a great celebration of our commitment in front of our friends, family and the beauty of nature. Everyone pitched in from our dear friend Sean actually performing the ceremony to my closest friend Eric brewing the beer and of course my band, Sac Au Lait, providing the music. It was absolutely the best party I have been to- hands down.

Honeymoon in Costa Rica

Shortly after the wedding, Angie and I headed to Costa Rica! Our first time out of the country together. The country was absolutely beautiful and the people were kind and humble. You will see by the photos, we had adventures like hiking, horseback riding, zip lines, and snorkeling- but, there was also plenty of rest and relaxation on the beach at at our pool. The most adventure came in the form of me being relived of all my belongings aside from my camera and a pair of dirty clothes. Our car was broken into on all of 5 minutes of checking into our Villa... it was a bummer, but kinda made the rest of the trip much more simple and kind of an adventure. We had to follow the police 25-30 minutes speeding down rough, windy dirt roads that lead to the nearest city that could write us an official reprot and help get my passport reissued when we finally got back to San Jose. THe two areas you see most in the photos are from the Arenal Volcano and Tamarindo Beach.
